Vendredi 4e Mars

Today is arrival day on the Indo aggressor and with great excitement we welcomed 15 guests from USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Espagne, Korea, Malaysia and Switzerland. Sadly due to arrival times we weren’t able to dive however we had a great time getting to know one another and take in the incredible landscape as we headed to the north of the Komodo National Park.

Samedi 5e Mars

We began our first day of diving at GLD Bay. A perfect place for a check out dive no current and warm water greeted us. Highlights included Spanish Dancer, blue ring octopus, hawksbill turtles and crocodile fish.

We then moved into Current City where we dived Makasaar Reef. We hoped to find mantas and luck was with us we had countless close encounters with these majestic creatures.

Our third dive was at Batu Balong an incredible pinnacle dive with amazing corals. Highlights included Grey Reef Sharks, blancs requins à pointe, Napoléons, giant trevally and nudibranchs.

We then moved back to GLD and did our night dive on Spanish Steps, Our luck held and we found Spanish Dancers, juvenile octopus, flatworms and nudibranchs.

Dimanche 6e Mars

Our first dive of the day was at Crystal Rock followed by Castle Rock both incredible pinnacle dives. Highlights included Grey Reef Sharks, Black tip reef sharks, blancs requins à pointe, carangue à grosse tête, napoléons, hunting octopus, ladybugs and yellow pygmy seahorses.

Our third dive was at the world famous site known as Shotgun. An exciting drift dive where highlights included white tip reef sharks, spotted eagle rays, marble ray and leaf scorpion fish.

Our night dive was at GLD Bay highlights included a variety of flatworms, carrier crabs, nudibranches, cuttlefish and painted lobsters.

Lundi 7e Mars

We began our day diving Shotgun a great drift dive. Highlights included hunting black tip reef sharks, giant trevally and nudibranchs.

Our second dive was at Niko’s West Side an interesting dive with focus on the macro. Highlights included Broadclub cuttlefish, juvenile spotted sweet lips, pieuvre, juvenile batfish and nudibranchs.

Our third dive an exhilarating drift dive at GLD passage had highlights of spotted eagle rays, black tip reef sharks, blancs requins à pointe, bumphead poisson perroquet, cuttle fish, leaf scorpionfish, hawksbill and green turtles as well as cuttlefish.

For those with the energy we offered a land excursion on GLD and an opportunity to climb to the top of the mountain for an incredible view of the Komodo National Park.

Our night dive was at Niko’s West side. Highlights included Spanish Dancers, Dwarf Cuttlefish, Carrier and Decorator Crabs.

Mardi 8e Mars

Overnight we headed to the deep south to a bay known as NusaKode. Our first dive of the day was at Cannibal Rock an incredible seamount with an incredible diversity of corals. Highlights included painted frogfish, nudibranches, white tip reef sharks and hawksbill turtles.

Our second dive was at Middle Reef another wonderful seamount. Highlights included large schools of red snappers, bannerfish and spade fish as well as a variet of morays, nudibranchs and white tip reef sharks.

Our third dive was at Yellow Wall a great wall dive once again highlights included nudibranchs, tortues imbriquées, napoleon wrasse and cuttlefish.

Our fourth dive was at Rhino Rock. Highlights included modular rays, seiche, nudibranchs and octopus.

Our night dive was at Torpedo Alley. Highlights included nudibranchs, seiche, Spanish dancers and slipper lobsters.

During the day we also got to see the Komodo Dragons on the beach as well as monkeys, wild pigs and white bellied sea eagles.

Mercredi 9e Mars

We began our day diving Cannibal Rock an incredible seamount. Highlights included painted frogfish, requins bambou, nudis, white tip reef sharks and spotted eagle rays.

Our second dive at Pelican Head a great wall dive had highlights of Hawksbill turtles, blancs requins à pointe, nudis, bubble coral shrimps and cowfish.

Our third dive at Boulders had highlights of nudis, murènes ruban, hawksbill turtles and octopus.

Our fourth dive at Yellow Wall had highlights of Giant Frogfish, painted frogfish and cuttlefish.

Finally our night dive at Cannibal Rock included highlights of marble rays, Danseuses espagnoles, cuttlefish and nudibranchs

Jeudi 10e Mars

Overnight we travelled to Padar Island for our first dive of the daY AT A SITE KNOWN AS Secret Garden. Highlights included

We then moved north to a site known as Honeymoon Rock. A great pinnacle dive. Highlights included

We then moved to the north of Rinja Island for our official dragon Trek. Highlights included Komodo Dragons, Timor Deer, wild pigs and monkeys.

We then returned to the boat hoisted the sails and headed for the port of Labuan Bajo. Along the way we enjoyed a cocktail party together before a final dinner together. Sadly everybody departs in the morning but once again we had another fantastic cruise on board the Indo Aggressor.
